Stretching almost 200 miles east-to-west, the Book Cliffs are a series of desert mountains and cliffs in western Colorado and eastern Utah. They are home to bobcats, mountain lions, coyotes, and bighorn sheep. They are also home to cattle grazing, oil and gas extraction, oil shale and tar sands fields, unfortunately.
